			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>So, it&#8217;s been forever since I updated this thing. Still have it though. Where to begin&#8230;</p>
<p>I slacked off for a long while, gained a few pounds back. Working on correcting that though, 7.5 lbs in a week, not bad in my book.</p>
<p>Big news though, I&#8217;ve found myself a wonderful and amazing girl. In fact she&#8217;s so wonderful and amazing I&#8217;m moving to Texas to be with her. June 1st is the big day of the move.</p>
<p>Nearing completed with my IT Programmer/Analyst degree. Just 6 more credits after this semester, good news is I can finish it all through the same school despite moving 1200+ miles across the country. Going to also try to get into a school down there and perhaps begin my long term goal of getting a degree in Physics.</p>
<p>Will try to start updating this thing again. It&#8217;s good to be publicly accountable. Although I&#8217;m sure the 2 or so people who read this thing have long ago given up. Oh well&#8230;</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Yup I fail at updating my web site, I know. Just stupid busy and stressed with work and school. I&#8217;m managing though.</p>
<p>My weight loss has slowed down a bit, only 5 lbs a month for the last 2 months. Should change this month though. I have a little challenge going with 2 co-workers. We are all going to try to lose 15 lbs in the month of May. I&#8217;m not sure that my body is capable of it, but I&#8217;m going to really try. Have been hitting it hard already the last 4 days of the month.</p>
<p>As always I&#8217;ve included new photos on my progression page.</p>
<p><strong>Goal Progress<br />
</strong></p>
<p><em>Bench 185 lbs - </em>Have been working on my push-ups more but I am able to bench 155</p>
<p><em>Curl 100 lbs - </em>No progress here</p>
<p><em>50 push-ups without stopping - </em>I&#8217;m in the mid 20&#8217;s now with what I can do before I need to stop for a min</p>
<p><em>5 minute plank - </em>2.5 minutes. Have been doing crunches and leg raises though in place of planks for a bit</p>
<p><em>Run 2 miles without stopping - </em>Done! I&#8217;m actually able to run 3 without stopping and am changing the goal to 5 miles.</p>
<p><em>Lose 15 lbs in March - </em>Nope. Aiming for 15 lbs in May.</p>
<p><em>Get to 200 lbs by mid April</em> - Fail. I feel like part of it is that I&#8217;m lifting more and differently. So I&#8217;m gaining in lean muscle mass and it is offsetting the fat lose.</p>
<p><em>175 lbs by July 4th</em> - I don&#8217;t think this is doable, but I&#8217;ll leave it as a goal for now.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>February was not a good month for me. I only lost 5 pounds, the least amount I&#8217;ve lost in any month since starting. Bad month, but still good. As always I&#8217;ve posted a progression picture on that page.<br />
I&#8217;m hitting it hard this month so far. I&#8217;ve set a goal of losing 15 pounds before the end of the month and I&#8217;m really going to push to get there.  I&#8217;ve been challenged by a friend to bench 185 lbs. This is 50 lbs more then I&#8217;ve been reping. Going to alter how I&#8217;ve been lifting on Fridays to push myself and see if I can get there.</p>
<p>Going to change how I list my goals. Instead of a month by month I&#8217;ll just post what I&#8217;m currently thinking about and working on. I&#8217;ll update at least every month with how I do.</p>
<p><strong>Current Goals</strong></p>

<p>That is me about 2 years or so ago. Sleeping at work because of my sleep apnea. Sleep apnea that has vanished with my weight lose.</p>
<p>It has been one year to the day that I started tracking my weight. It&#8217;s crazy to me how fast this year has gone by.</p>
<p>I&#8217;ve done big things and changed my life around in ways I never knew I was capable of.</p>
<p>I haven&#8217;t smoked a cigarette in over a year now (I stopped smoking about 2 weeks earlier then when I started keeping track of my weight), that to me is big as well.</p>
<p>I&#8217;ve completed a semester of college classes. Something I had always put off and never got around too.</p>
<p>The huge thing is, I&#8217;m not so huge! I&#8217;ve lost 148 pounds in a years time. One hundred forty eight pounds. That is just amazing to me. I never knew I would lose that much, or heck even stick with this. I have though.</p>
<p>I&#8217;m pretty sure I would have died doing what I do now as a work out 1 year ago. There is no way I could have done it.</p>
<p>I have 42 lbs. to go to reach the goal I set for myself when I started out. I know I can get there.</p>
<p>Thank You to all those who have given me words of encouragement throughout this whole time period.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Happy New Year to anyone who reads these lame posts of mine.  This post is a couple days later then normal but I&#8217;ve been distracted by other things. I&#8217;m sure no one missed it anyway.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s the middle of winter here, and I&#8217;m starting to miss the ability to walk and jog outside. The treadmill has finaly crashed under the stress of having me abuse it. I am likely going to buy an elliptical machine to replace it as a friend of mine highly recommends them over the classic treadmill. Just haven&#8217;t fully decided yet.</p>
<p>Starting today I&#8217;m going to get psycho about this again. I haven&#8217;t been bad at all, but I feel I just need to get even more obsessed with this then I have been.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s almost been 1 year, and I will be making a post when I get to that point. Which is about 2 weeks from now. Though I don&#8217;t think I&#8217;ll be making my 1 year goal, I can live with that.</p>

<p>Be able jog/run 1.5 miles without stopping - <em>Done</em></p>
<p>Work on increasing my speed doing HIIT on the treadmill <em>- Done, even though it broke last week</em></p>

<p>Get to 210 lbs</p>

<p>Be very strict with my diet</p>
<p>Look into adding a little body weight circut training</p>
