Progression

So the new year began, and I was trying to decide if I should set any resolutions for myself. Year after year I had always said I was going to quit smoking and lose weight. Year after year I failed to do it. Hardly even trying, I wasn’t going to get any results.

Talking to a friend of mine, Forest, and he was having the same thoughts as me. He was going to give it an attempt himself. Misery loves company, so I set out to do it myself. We would use each other for motivation and support. Thanks for that Forest, having someone to talk to thats doing the same thing as me is a great help. I hope its the same for you.

I spent a week or so doing lots of research. Finding out what to expect with both goals and how to go about it. I learned a lot, and set up a path in my mind to have success. I still do research on the subjects, I like being informed.

January 6th, 2008

  • I smoke my last cigarette.
  • I drink my last can of soda.

January 16th, 2008

  • I start my diet.
  • I begin tracking my weight.
